A copper cable with a cross—section of 2.5 mm2 is usually used for sockets, and 1.5 mm2 for lighting. An electric stove may require a cable with a cross-section of 4 or even 6 mm2. Next comes the dirtiest stage, wall—breaking. This is the cutting of grooves in the walls into which the cable will fit. All wires must run strictly vertically or horizontally.
